Amboseli National Park: Explore this fascinating park, located at the foot of Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain.

Tsavo West National Park: A water-level bunker provides exceptional insight into the wildlife at Mzima Springs.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary : Visit this dense park where you can search for 50 species of mammals.

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI

Upon arrival at Nairobi Airport, a representative will meet you for your transfer to the Eka Hotel (or equivalent) for check-in. Enjoy the afternoon freely and modern facilities: two restaurants, a bar and a swimming pool. This contemporary-style hotel offers comfort and convenience before embarking on your Kenyan odyssey. The Eka is located on the Mombasa Road in the south of Nairobi. It is close to international and national airports as well as to the city center. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, and are all air conditioned. Interesting optional excursions are available for early arrivals, such as the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage Tour, the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Center Tour.

Overnight in Nairobi.

After a quiet breakfast, departure from Nairobi with a picnic heading south-east to Amboseli. Observe the animals on the road. Arrival at the lodge at sunset. Most of the park is the bed of a partially dry lake, with evaporated salts, fragile meadows and patches of acacia wood. You will be able to observe all kinds of animals in the park, including rhinos, giraffes, gazelles, lions, cheetahs and leopards. Avian fauna is also prolific, especially around swampy areas. The experience takes place from start to finish in the shadow of the majestic Kilimanjaro, which rises some 5,000 meters above the national park. Located in the shadow of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Serena Lodge is surrounded by a thick acacia forest and exquisite gardens. Decorated with African motifs, the 96 comfortable rooms of the lodge imitate the architecture of a Maasai village with its many manyattas or houses. In the late afternoon and evening, take a seat on the beautiful terrace overlooking gardens, a swimming pool and paths. From your post, observe the nocturnal ritual of wildebeest, antelopes, elephants, and other animals that enter the pastures. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Overnight in Amboseli.

After the morning game drive, you will have time to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. Next, depart for Tsavo West and pass through the spectacular Shetani lava flow, a lunar landscape formed by the molten lava that has poured down the slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills. A zigzag road crosses scrub and acacia trees to Tsavo West National Park, which, together with Tsavo East National Park, forms the largest of Kenya's parks. You may observe animals along the road to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, including gerenuks. Conveniently located near Kilimanjaro and sheltered from the incredible volcanic landscapes of the Chyulu Hills, this classic stone lodge overlooks a waterhole where you can see elephants, buffaloes and a large number of plain animals. It is one of the first lodges ever to be built in a national park, a cool and peaceful place from which you can observe animals in complete discretion. Its location is also perfect for visiting all the main attractions of the park. Facing the volcanic rock and using the valley's natural rock outcrops - called "the place of the young rhino" - the lodge has a central thatched-roof dining room and stone bar, with a terrace with panoramic views which opens directly onto the water point. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Overnight in Tsavo West.

After breakfast, join the park safari and visit Mzima Springs, where an observation chamber just below water level offers a fascinating glimpse of the park's aquatic wildlife. After lunch at the lodge, you will leave Tsavo West and continue to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrival at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge at sunset. The lodge is located in the heart of the private sanctuary, near Tsavo West National Park. All bedrooms are built over two floors from a central point and linked together by raised platforms that overlook lick stones and a small waterhole lit at night. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary modern comforts. The restaurant, the bar and the main balconies overlook the water point and the pond and the salt, constantly used by the animals of the park. You will also discover an underground hiding place that allows you to observe the animals very closely but in complete safety. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
